Well, I've really enjoyed this course but I really don't see any use for Mashup. I guess some people have a lot of time on their hands. Most of the applications are frivolous and I don't see much use for them. Rollyo is OK if you are person who constantly searches the web; I don't. I think Delicious would be a better way to tag useful sites.
I really would like to thank those who put this course together. Thanks also to MLA, what a great member benefit.

Posting video
Well after what I thought was an incomplete action, I ended up posting the cookie monster 3 times. Oh well, too many cookies can't be a real problem.

Flickr Photos
Flickr is a very easy program to work with. I can see myself using for my friends and family. I don't see much use for these social networking applications in the library but is certainly have enjoyed learning about them. It is a hassele that some like Flickr are actually blocked by the hospital firewall.

Google Docs
Boy, once you have a google account so many applications open up. I think this application is great. I don't need for my job since I am a one person librarian. I rarely have to collaborate with co-workers. However, I can certainly see its value for working with my professional association colleagues. I am finally feeling confortable with this new technology. My kids keep telling me it was easy!

Social bookmarking
I have found this new tool one of the best so far. I can see how this could enhance a library website or blog. I don't do a lot of websurfing myself so I don't think I would need it for personal use. It appears that the web is finally coming around to what librarians have been saying for years. "The web needs indexing!"
